I face issues with the AP stylebook. The rules and spellings in the 2009 edition are different from the academic style of writing that I have previously learned. Journalistic writing requires certain spellings, usages, and abbreviations at certain times. If you do not use the correct form of the word then the sentence is wrong.
My minor is English-Writing. I enjoy writing because I am so familiar with the rules. I can produce a well-written paper in no time flat! I enjoy writing in the academic style so much that it is difficult for me to switch to the journalistic style.
