Newspaper Article Brief

Thursday, September 1, 2009, an article was published by the OU Daily entitled, “Fear and fried chicken.” At a recent Black Student Association (BSA) meeting, they decided to be the difference and launch their “Be the walking example” campaign. This campaign will allow them to educate the OU campus on the difference between offensive and funny. Throughout the year, BSA will host town hall discussions with various topics discussing different cultures. Through this campaign BSA hopes they will bring awareness to the OU campus. They hope culture boundaries will be crossed as a result of this campaign.
