My news story covered the Oklahoma State Fair. I discuss the last few days of the fair and how many people prefer to go to the fair the last weekend. The fair seems to plan its events around the later half of the 10-day run so that people get a chance to hear advertisements, personal stories, and get a chance to go enjoy the fair before it is over. The fair began in the rainy September weeks, but ended in beautiful 90-degree weather. The last two concerts, Boys II Men and Gary Allan, were the most anticipated of the Toyota Concert Series, and attracted many people from all over to attend and enjoy all the fair has to offer. Food, rides and exhibits are also a must when the fair is in town. Where else can you get such unique food like deep-fried Oreos and Indian Tacos? Everyone should go to the fair, more than once if possible!
