Southern Poverty Law Center
“Starting out as a small law firm in 1971” (SPLC), the Southern Poverty Law Center provides help to those who feel as if they have been discriminated in the job force, provides security by using their Intelligence Project to track and monitor extremist activity towards minorities, and helps teachers overcome diversity in the classroom. The tone of this site truly speaks of freedom towards diversity in everyday life. The Southern Poverty Law Center offers links to other parts of their website where someone can find more info on what is being done about diversity, as well as show how a person can help this cause (mainly donations). The site does not offer direct advice on how it can and will help you, but it does provide the names of the staff and gives a way for people to contact them and how to get involved. The site also gives links to other parts of its site where someone looking for employment can find it quickly. This web page comes across as a very professional site that does not point out how other minorities have become victims. Instead, it offers help and tries to build a connection and mutual respect between those of different race and ethnicity.
