I do face many writing challenges with grammar, spelling and punctuation. I attended a private Academy for high school, which primarily focuses on H history and AP English courses. We were taught to think critically, to question ideas, and learned important philosophy that we incorporated into numerous research papers.

Although my academic writing is strong enough to place out of English 1113 at the University of Oklahoma, I need to work on the simpler things like grammar and punctuation. Writing correctly is a huge part of journalistic writing, and I am relieved to know that JMC will teach me the basics.
