Do I lie or lay on a bed? Do you use a comma before and? When do I use a semicolon again? How do you spell accommodate? These common mistakes and many more are my faults when it comes to the challenge of using correct grammar. The biggest problem I have is second-guessing myself. Am I sure that I should use is instead of are? Do I really need three commas in one sentence? These questions and many more run through my head as I write. To overcome this insecurity I will need to practice more and study the language more so I can overcome my questioning nature.
