In high school I really only needed to write academic papers. so writing journalistically is quite different from the style of writing I had learned in the past. For example, in research papers I usually have to write longer sentences in my paragraphs, and in JMC I have to write a two to three sentence paragraph. Aside from writing short paragraphs, I also have to follow Associated Press style rules. Naturally, adjusting is a bit difficult for me right now because I’m just not used to it. Hopefully, I would be able to overcome my struggle, and succeed in this class!
