Writing for Mass Media
14 September 2009
Writing journalistically is difficult for me because I struggle saying briefly what I need to say. In the journalistic style, it is key that we put all of the important information regarding our story in short-sentence form.
Also, journalists use different grammar rules. I am used to essays and writings of that nature, but when writing a newspaper article we must follow the rules of The Associated Press Stylebook. I have never learned some of the rules in the Stylebook, however I am excited to learn.
