The University of Oklahoma Student Association, UOSA, has begun a series of tailgates free to all OU students.
After showing their ID, students can chow down on delectable hot dogs and ice-cold Cokes. The organization has teamed with OU Housing and Food to provide these yummy treats.
Events at the tailgate include listening to music, throwing around the football, and just hanging out. Free Sooner memorabilia is passed out as well.
UOSA’s first tailgate was at the Idaho State game, with over 300 in attendance. Then the second tailgate, during the Tulsa game, increased to over 400 due to the good weather and increased publicity.
